Well
first of all I just want to wish yall a Very Merry Christmas!! I still
cant believe its been this long so far. I just had my four month mark on
Saturday and it feels like I just left yesterday. I did get moved to
the other side of my district with my district leader and his companion.
Elder Richardson leaves in 8 days and is from Fruit Heights, Utah.
Elder Brown has only been out for 6 weeks longer than me and is from
Kaysville, Utah. They are both really great guys. I love them both and
are both by far my favorite companions. Its a lot of fun to be with them
as well. When we bike somewhere we go super fast. There are a lot of
hills here so when we get to those we just coast down. I have really
come to appreciate the fact that missions are fun. One thing I have
gotten bad at though is writing in my journal. I have been so tired this
week because this area is a lot busier than my old area. We have taught
more lessons in one day here than I did in the last month in my last
area. This last week we had a meeting with the bishop. We are all
struggling with finding new people to teach. He bore his testimony on
how we are all weak without the Lord. On Wednesday all of us and the
bishop fasted for a new investigator. We haven't found them yet but I
know we will. I just want to leave yall with my testimony this week as
my Christmas gift to you. I too know that as to my own strength I am
weak. I am nothing with out my Father in Heaven. Compared to Him I am
nothing, but I am still everything to Him. How great it is that I am
able to kneel down and pray to Him. I know that my savior and redeemer
lives. He suffered for me! He bled for me! He died for me! Because of
that I will be eternally great full. The healing power of the Atonement
is real. I am walking proof of that! I know that through Him I can and
we all can return to live with our Father. I will strive my hardest to
follow him. Serving a mission, even though I have only been out 4
months, has changed me. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I love
that book! There is no doubt in my mind that it is true and that Joseph
Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ that morning. I know that
Christ is the greatest gift of all. That He love me and will do anything
to show me that. I know that families can be together for eternity. I
love that too because I love my family, and friends! These things I know
to be true. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Thank you so much for
all you have done for me and may you have a blessed Christmas. Merry
Christmas!! Love you all!!!
Elder Bullinger
