Well
I hope yall had a great Christmas. I had a good one. It was really nice
to get to Skype with all of my family. That was by far the best part of
the day. It was a lot of fun getting to spend the day with a few
members in the ward here. We had a cool experience on Saturday. We were
tracting and we knocked on this one door. No one answered. So as we were
walking away a lady opened up. She actually invited us in. That has
never happened to me on my whole mission. It was really cool. We were
able to teach the restoration to her than set up a return appointment.
Let me tell you a little back ground on this. We have all been
struggling finding new investigators in my district. This month in the
mission we are focusing on having the faith to find. I have been praying
and fasting that at least one companionship would find a new
investigator. We had planned to go teach a potential. When they weren't
there, I felt like we should go tract a street that we drove by on the
way there. Its just wonderful to think that if we will put our trust in
the Lord and listen to the promptings we receive, it will always end up
better than it would of if we would of done it on our own. Every good
idea is not your own, it comes from our Father in Heaven. This week was a
pretty good one and this next is the beginning of a new year. As yall
look forward to this new year I encourage yall to set realistic goals
for yourself. Then kneel down and council with Heavenly Father. Tell Him
your goals and plead for his help in accomplishing them. I promise you
that as you put your trust in him, He will give you the strength to
accomplish all things. I pray for all of you to have a happy and safe
New Years. I love you all!
Love Elder Bullinger
